Description
Apartment #1 (Downstairs) is an outfitted, furnished three-bedroom apartment. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. The other two bedrooms have two twin beds that can be converted to a king prior to arrival upon request. There is also a queen sofa bed in the living room. The main bathroom is a full bathroom with tub/shower combination and the master bathroom has a corner shower. The kitchen has been remodeled with new appliances (dishwasher, 5-burner glass top range, overhead microwave), new cabinets and counter top, and laminate floors. Guests can park in the carport. A large chest freezer is provided for your catch.
Apartment #2 (Upstairs) offers a view of Tongass Narrows with cathedral ceilings, two bedrooms with two queen beds, one twin bed, and queen sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
Both apartments have an outfitted, well-appointed kitchen, linens, cable television with upgraded movie channels, VCR/DVD player, private telephone, and shared large capacity washer and dryer. Enjoy the water view from the deck. There's a gas BBQ grill and a separate propane burner with a large pot for cooking crab and other seafood outside.
Wireless internet access is provided.
Your Hosts
Wanda and Darrell live on the premises upstairs. In addition to operating their vacation rentals, they are also owners of Ketchikan Reservation Service. They have a friendly dog named Molly who is the official guest greeter!
Breakfast
Since this is a vacation rental, breakfast foods are not provided. The kitchen is stocked upon arrival only with staples, condiments, coffee and tea. We suggest shopping in town before coming to the property.
Location - NORTH OF TOWN
About 4 miles north of the city limits (Milepost 6); 7 miles north of the airport and Alaska Marine Highway ferry terminal; and 10 miles from the downtown historical district. Property location is on D-1 Loop Road (Mile 10 North), only about a 15-minute drive from the airport ferry and the Alaska ferry terminal. This property is about four miles SOUTH of Knudson Cove Marina and Clover Pass Resort.
Summer Rates (May 1 - Sept. 30)
Apartment #1 - Downstairs
Up to four guests: $225 + 6.5% tax
Each additional guest: $50 + 6.5% tax
Apartment #2 - Upstairs
One to three guests: $150 + 6.5% tax
Each additional guest: $50 + 6.5% tax
Minimum four-night stay required.
Family rates available for families with two or more children!
Children under two stay free!

One or two guests, one bed: $100 + 6.5% tax
Each additional guest: $25 + 6.5% tax

Each additional guest: $25 + 6.5% tax
Minimum four-night stay required.

Pet Policy
Pets may be allowed with prior approval. Hosts have specific pet rules that will be discussed at time of booking and a pet deposit is required. A charge of $10 per day will be added to the room rate for each pet. Purchase of Travel Guard's Accidental Rental Damage Insurance is required. The cost is $45 for $1,500 coverage (one pet) or $69 for $3000 coverage (two or more pets).
NOTE:
Transportation is not included to this vacation rental. If you will not have a car, we suggest you rent one rather than taking a taxi as a taxi is expensive. The BUS (BLUE LINE) will stop at the base of D1 Loop Rd. and let you off approximately 1/4 mile from the house. Using the BUS on arrival may be difficult with luggage as there is a pretty steep hill part of the way. Check-in is guaranteed after 4 p.m. and check-out is 12 noon. If you need an earlier check-in or later check out, arrangements will need to be made with the host prior to your arrival.
