Description
Hidden Cove Estate is a beautifuly constructed craftsman built house on a secluded beach providing first class accommodations. The four bedrooms can accommodate up to six guests comfortably (two high quality queen beds, two twin beds that can be converted to a king bed upon request, a full/twin bunkbed). The custom built kitchen has Kitchen Aid appliances and an undercounter Sub-Zero refrigerator for beverages. The kitchen is stocked with staples and outfitted with dishes and other items needed to make yourselves at home. There are two bathrooms (one on each floor) and laundry facilities.
For a memorable experience, some guests may want to sleep in the Boat House which is right on the water's edge with a double bed in the loft. It is like sleeping in a boat captain's museum with all the fishing treasures collected over the years.
Your best entertainment will be the time spent outdoors on the large deck or on the beach just a few feet from your doorstep. You can grill your meal outdoors in the fire pit on the beach and dine at the picnic table as you watch the evening sunset over beautiful Clarence Straits. A gas BBQ grill is provided on the large deck. Your indoor entertainment includes a full satelite move package on a 45" LCD flatscreen, VCR and DVD players, and CD stereo.
High speed DSL wireless internet service is provided.
Breakfast
The kitchen is stocked upon your arrival only with breakfast foods for a self-prepared breakfast (milk, eggs, bread, cereal, etc.)
Location
This home is located NORTH OF TOWN at Milepost 11 North Tongass which is about 20 minutes from downtown Ketchikan and about 15 minutes from the ferry and airport ferry (townside). It is about 3 miles south of Knudson Cove Marina and Clover Pass Resort.
Summer Rates (May 1 - Sept. 30)
One or three guests: $275 + 6.5% tax
Each additional guest: $40 + 6.5% tax
Minimum four-night stay required.
Discounts for extended stays over two weeks are negotiable.
Winter Rates (Oct. 1 - Apr. 30)
One or two guests: $220 + 6.5% tax
Each additional guest: $30 + 6.5% tax
Minimum four-night stay required.

Pet Policy
Pets may be allowed with prior approval. Hosts have specific pet rules that will be discussed at time of booking and a pet deposit is required. A charge of $10 per day will be added to the room rate for each pet.
Transportation Taxi cabs are available on the town side at the airport ferry dock and at the Alaska Marine Highway ferry terminal. To homes outside the city, it is usually better to rent a car. If you would like to rent a car, we recommend Alaska Car Rental. They have offices in town and at the airport. They offer courtesy transfers. You can get a discount with Alaska Car Rental if you book online and use my code KRSWANDA or by calling toll free 800-662-0007. The Bus operates three routes within the city limits and along Tongass Avenue as far South as Mile 4/Rotary Beach (GREEN LINE to RED LINE); and North to Mile 10/Totem Bight State Historical Park (BLUE LINE) Monday-Friday only. The fare is $1 (Adult) and $.50 (student 5 years and up) per person (exact change required in U.S. currency). No charge for immediate transfer to next bus. Deposit and Confirmations
Full payment is required on one and two night stays at the time the reservation is made. A minimum advance deposit of the first two nights paid in full or 50% of the total reservation is required on stays of three (3) nights or more. Upon receipt of your deposit, a confirmation will be sent by mail, fax or e-mail with your bed and breakfast or vacation rental information, map, directions, and travel insurance information. The balance due, if any, is payable to KRS 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival and can be paid by personal check, cashier's check, postal money order or a major credit card.
Cancellations and Refunds
We appreciate notification as early as possible if you need to cancel or change your reservation. All cancellations are subject to a processing fee of $25 plus tax. Cancellation penalties are as follows:
| Stays 1-6 nights: | Cancellations made prior to 30 days before the scheduled arrival date are entitled to a full refund less a $25 processing fee. There are no refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date. |

| Travel Insurance: | Optional travel insurance is available to protect you from loss of your deposit due to trip cancellation and interruption. The cost is 7% of your total reservation amount and can be added on request. Select the AIG Travel Guard link below for more information. |
